Mubarak Adetunji Ojewale is a Postdoc researcher at KAUST with a Ph.D. from the University of Porto, Portugal. His doctoral studies focused on innovative data transmission control in distributed real-time embedded systems. Prior to his doctoral studies, Mubarak gained valuable industry experience as a Technology and Innovation consultant at Discovery Cycle Professionals. In this role, he provided consultancy services to various clients, including technology and research establishments, international consortia, as well as national and sub-national governments.
Mubarak holds a First Class Honours bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan and a distinction-grade master’s degree from the African University of Science and Technology. He has received numerous fellowship and grant awards, including the Total E&P National Undergraduate Merit Award, the Nelson Mandela Institute (NMI) International Masters Scholarship Award, the Portuguese National PhD Fellowship, and several travel grants from esteemed organizations such as ACM and IEEE.
